Open Play sessions are included in the cost of membership and there is no additional fee. Non-members must pay $20 for each open play session.

Open Play will be structured based on paddle rotation. Each group of 4 will play 1 game to 11 and then rotate out.   We will use paddle racks to help with rotation and will also assign skill levels per court based on participation.

Players have the option to stick with the same partner or group if they wish but are encouraged to mix in with others – after all, one of the biggest enjoyments of pickleball is meeting new friends!

Members may bring non-members in with them as guests during their court reservation time for a fee of $10 per person.  Guest passes are valid for 1 session (court rental). Guests must still check in at the front desk, AND SIGN a LIABILTY WAIVER.

Chilly Dill Cryotherapy FAQ

Yes, you may. The whole body cryo machines are held by a magnet and never locked. You may step out at any time. We have one machine that is open to the top, and your head is raised above the level of the upper rim of the cabin. Clients who suffer from claustrophobia report that they are comfortable in both devices.

If you are pregnant (however, nursing mothers are welcome) or have one of the following conditions, you should not use Whole Body Cryotherapy: Severe hypertension (blood pressure greater 180/100), acute or recent myocardial infarction, unstable angina pectoris, arrhythmia, symptomatic cardiovascular disease, cardiac pacemaker, peripheral arterial occlusive disease, venous thrombosis, acute or recent cerebrovascular accident, uncontrolled seizures, Raynaud’s Syndrome, fever, tumor disease, symptomatic lung disorders, bleeding disorders, severe anemia, infection, cold allergy, acute kidney or urinary tract diseases.

Note* guests younger than 18 years old require parental consent.

No, you don’t. This procedure is absolutely dry and does not make your skin wet. You can continue about your day and enjoy all of the benefits of cryotherapy immediately after your treatment.

Yes, as Chilly Dill’s highest priority is its guests’ health.  Our Whole Body Cryotherapy units are the latest technology and are completely electric!   Chilly Dill has used over 30 years of research in Whole Body Cryotherapy in order to perfect the treatment process and provide the highest quality client experience.  With electric cryotherapy, you are able to expose your entire body to the ultra-low temperatures which results in true whole body cooling. Again, this is because you are in a refrigerated cooled air chamber which is completely safe to breathe. Studies have found that with the whole body exposure there are more positive reactions which stem from activating the CNS (Central Nervous System).

Before a session, Chilly Dill asks several medical history questions. Additionally, Chilly Dill provides all of its guests with gloves and socks that protect the body’s more temperature-sensitive tissues such as hands and feet. Additionally, moisture-stripping wipes are provided to remove any sweat or lotion from our guests’ body before entering the Cryotherapy chambers.

Developed in Japan in 1978 for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, Whole Body Cryotherapy has been used in Europe for more than three decades and in the United States for the last decade.

Medical journals detail the effects and subsequent benefits of whole body cryotherapy. In the United States, Whole Body Cryotherapy is considered a non-medical, holistic solution.

There are minimal risks associated with Whole Body Cryotherapy , given all of our Chill Specialists have been certified to operate the cryotherapy devices. Chilly Dill provides all guests with packages that contain fresh cotton gloves and socks that protect the more temperature-sensitive extremities such as your hands and feet, which eliminates the risk of frost bite.

Additionally, moisture-stripping wipes are provided to remove any moisture or lotion from our guests’ body before entering the Cryotherapy chambers, which prevents rashes or freezer burn. Fluctuations in blood pressure during the procedure by up to 10 points systolically can occur but reverses after the procedure is finished, as peripheral circulation returns to normal. Additionally, guests may experience some redness on their skin, but this will subside shortly after the treatment.

Yes, a distinct advantage of cryotherapy over an ice bath treatment is that the muscle tissues do not actually freeze and thus does not require time to rest. Ten minutes of light exercise post cryotherapy will actually induce more rapid vasodilation of the vessels and capillaries which increases blood flow to the tissues that need it most.

The amount of treatments you do will depend on you!  …What you’re looking to achieve:  pain management, recovery, sculpting, etc.

Talk to one of our experienced staff members who will develop an individualized plan that will serve you best and help you achieve your goals!

Your external skin temperature warms up within five minutes of exiting the Cryotherapy chambers. The immediate effects from each session typically last for six to eight hours. Cryotherapy stimulates the body to release endorphins, which are the hormones that make you feel good and energetic. Most clients report a better night’s sleep after just one session!

Dry socks with a slipper/sandal for the feet, light cotton gloves for the hands and a dry undergarment. This is to protect your extremities from any potential damage from the extreme temperatures.

Yes, cold therapy has been proven to aid in recovery for over thirty years; the new benefits being found for cold therapy as an actual health treatment can be found in many medical journals. However, cold therapy is considered a holistic approach and is not covered by major insurance providers.*

No. Where an ice bath has direct contact with the skin and can be painful, cryotherapy is a dry, indirect contact. Due to the session only being three minutes max, the session is very tolerable. Towards the end of the session, you may get a ‘pins and needles’ sensation which disappears immediately after the treatment.

Cryotherapy is a dry, cold process, so upon checking into your appointment, you will enter a changing room and disrobe. Chilly Dill provides both gloves and socks for our clients to ensure no residual moisture is touching the skin. Gentlemen are required to wear undergarments, and everyone is required to wear the socks and gloves provided by Chilly Dill.
